While this is a basic feature of Pacemkr, it impacts your understanding of your board.&nbsp;This tutorial aims to clarify scenarios with your work items and how they impact your metrics.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<h3 class=\"wp-block-heading\">The workflow<\/h3>\n\n\n\n<p>Let\u2019s start by defining a workflow that we will use across all the examples in this tutorial. Leaving the workflow means it has reached or gone past the last column of the workflow and never comes back in the workflow<\/em>.<\/em><\/p>\n<\/blockquote>\n\n\n\n<p>In the picture below, work item A is finished. It went directly from \u2018Validation\u2019 to \u2018Monitor\u2019, a column excluded from our workflow.
